Intensive Literacy & Numeracy
The stigma of having low levels of literacy and numeracy is a learning barrier for most people. This can affect their self-confidence or motivation to to participate or move forward in their life.
Our Learn English! programme is based on the Maori and Pacific holistic health models Te Whare Tapa Wha and Fono Fale. It focuses on equipping our learners with the foundational literacy and numeracy skills of Reading, Writing, Maths and Speaking.

Learn and improve your English in only 20 weeks. Our programme features a small class size of 10 students, one to one and small group tuition. Our programme not only equips our learners with critical foundation english skills but more importantly develops them holistically, making them better citizens of Aotearoa.
Learning activities include how and when to use a range of literacy and numeracy strategies to problem solve.
An individual learning plan will be created with a range of learning activities.
Content will be delivered through One-to-one and small group tuition.
Learners will learn when and where to apply Maori and Pacific health models to support everyday life.

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
• The New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1)
• Further study or training at New Zealand Qualifications Framework Level 1 and above.
